Mr. Aurel Cherecheș

Cherecheș Ioan Aurel is currently the prefect of Cluj County. He is also a Lecturer at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Department of Road Vehicles and Transport.

Aurel Chereches has a rich professional experience in areas such as: technical consultant, webmaster / publisher, professional training specialist / commercial specialist, associate professor and university lecturer, all contributing to his training as a professional.

He attended courses at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, specializing in Zootechnics, obtaining the title of engineer specializing in Zootechnics. After completing his university studies, he followed post-graduate studies at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, specializing in Mechanical Engineering, obtaining the title of Doctor in Mechanical Engineering. Besides these, he attended various training courses: Waste Management Specialist, Public Procurement Expert, Project Manager and Trainer.
