Biography

Emil-Anton COMȘA is of profession engineer with specializations in telecommunication in Vienna and Krakow and tourism and services in Paris and obtained the Tourism Brevet from the Romanian Ministry of Tourism.

After a career of two years in applied research at the National Research and Development Institute for Communications and after three years in applied research at the Institute of Computer Engineering, in 2005 he becomes founder partner and general manager at ANTREC Transylvania, where he has coordinated numerous key projects in strategic consultancy, both in private and public sector.

In Mai 2011, Emil-Anton initiated and coordinated the organization of the first International Rural Tourism Congress in Alba Iulia Romania and in 2012 the third Congress of the Eurogîtes – European Tourism Federation, in Piatra Neamt.

Starting with 2014, Emil-Anton transform ANTREC Transylvania in EMC Transylvania Lands Cluster – responsible for entrepreneurship and innovation, which brings together the private business environment, media trusts, universities and local government.

Emil-Anton is a convinced supporter of the development of the entrepreneurial collaboration within clusters in Romania and in the all Region, with an emphasis on creative industries and innovative technology businesses. In this sense, he sustained the development of tourism and services clusters and the development of the digital economy in Romania.

In personal life, Emil-Anton is passionate of traveling and enjoys life with his 3 children.
