Biography

Tracy commenced with Regional Development Australia in 2012 as Coordinator for the Regional Development Australia organisations of South East Queensland and more recently as Coordinator for greater Brisbane, often working across the 55 regions of Australia in regional economic and cluster development. Her previous experience has included managing a regional economic development authority, managing a regional cluster program, private consultancy and an early career in leadership and economic development in the public service of South Australia.

Tracy is an expert in cluster development, regional innovation and global competitiveness.She specialises in the facilitation and formation of innovation clusters for regional competitiveness and her particular interest lies in the internationalisation of Australia’s regions.

Tracy facilitated the hosting of the TCI-Network’s 2002 conference in Cairns, Queensland, Australia. (TCI-Network, the global practitioners network for competitiveness, clusters and innovation), She founded the TCI- Network’s Oceania chapter in 2007 and in November 2015 she joined the TCI Board of Directors. Tracy has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy and her postgraduate studies include International Trade and Development with the London School of Economics.”
